Evangelista
Background
Robert Evangelista
currently serves as production launch manager
for General Motor's Premium V Future Engine Programs
in Michigan. In his 16 years with GM, he has managed
operations with $45 million annual operating budgets
and staffs of 400 people. In one year alone, he
successfully reduced operating costs at his manufacturing
plant by twenty-five percent, increased production
by one-half, and improved quality by forty percent.

In addition to The
Business of Winning: A Manager's Guide to Building
a Championship Team at Work (CEP Press, 2001),
Evangelista is the author of The Changing Role
of the First-Line Supervisor (Kettering University,
1990). The latter publication also served as the
basis for an article printed in the journal of
the Mid-West Management Association.
Speaking engagements
Evangelista has shared
his unique team-building methodology at a number
of association conferences and meetings, including
the Automotive Training Manager's Council, the
International Society for Performance Improvement,
and Kettering University.
Educational background
Evangelista holds
a Bachelor of Science degree from the General
Motors Engineering & Management Institute
in Flint, MI (now Kettering University).
