Patricia Pulliam Phillips

Background

Patricia Pulliam Phillips is chairman & CEO of The Chelsea Group, a research and consulting organization. Phillips conducts research on accountability issues and works with clients to build accountability systems and processes in their organizations. She assists organizations in implementing the ROI methodology, developed by Jack J. Phillips, in countries around the world, including the US, Canada, South Africa, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Turkey, France, and Germany.

Publishing credits

Phillips has been featured in a wide range of publications, including Corporate University Review, Training Journal, The Journal of Lending and Credit Risk Management, ASTD/McGraw-Hill 2002 E-Learning Yearbook, What Smart Trainers Know, Lorraine L. Ukens (ed.), Jossey-Bass/Pfieffer (2001), and Evaluating Training Programs 2nd Edition, Donald L. Kirkpatrick, Berrett-Koehler Publishers, Inc. (1998). She has served as editor of ASTD's Measuring Return on Investment Volume 3 (2001), and Measuring Return on Investment in the Public Sector (2002). Phillips is author of ASTD's Infoline Mastering ROI (1998).

Educational background

Phillips holds a BS in Education from Auburn University and an MA in Public and Private Management from Birmingham-Southern College.

Speaking engagements

Phillips is a regular presenter at various conferences, including the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) annual conference, the ASTD international conference, and Training Magazine's annual conference.
