Statement of Purpose

CEP Press, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Center for Effective Performance (CEP), Atlanta, GA, is a full-service publisher of quality performance improvement, training, human resources, and management books and tools. Our titles focus on giving readers practical, relevant and easily applicable information they can use to maximize human performance. We accomplish this objective by:

  2. Representing the books of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), the leading international association dedicated to improving productivity and performance in the workplace.

Our Authors

Our authors average over 30 years of experience in management, performance improvement, instruction and/or training, including such well-known authorities as:

Robert F. Mager is the author of nine books on performance improvement and instruction that have sold well over three million copies worldwide. His Preparing Instructional Objectives is featured in the Museum of Education's Books of the Century list. Dr. Mager is recognized by many as the foremost authority on improving human performance.

Jack J. Phillips, of the Jack Phillips Center for Research, a division of Franklin Covey, is a world-renowned expert and widely published author on training, ROI, measurement, and evaluation.

Pierre Mourier is the founder and president of the Stractics Group, Inc., a management consulting firm dedicated to assisting clients in the design and implementation of results-driven organizational change.

Richard E. Clark is head of the doctoral program in Human Performance at Work at the University of Southern California and president of Atlantic Training, Inc., an international consulting company.
